ABOUT ME

Hello and welcome to Visual Arts Photography!

I would like to take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Stephanie and I am excited to share my photography with you and your family!

 

Photography has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. At the age of 12, I bought my first camera. It was the little cardboard box disposable camera. Yes, I am giving away my age here aren't I? Haha that's okay!

Since then I have upgraded camera's over the years and continued to photograph everything, all the time and everywhere I went. Over the years my family and friends often joked with me about taking a hundred photos a day of my children. What can I say? I love to photograph. Those same people that laughed at how many photos I would take also praised me for capturing the moment(s) just right.

I knew I wanted to be more then a mommy with a fancy camera so I decided to go back to school and study photography. I completed my photography through Shaw Academy and have continued to take master classes in photography from several world known photographers.

Photography truly is an art form. It is an art that captures moments and memories that last forever. I am so excited to help you and your family hold on to these moments. I photograph everything from the happy family to the edgy model. I love natural light photography but also do in studio photography. Whatever look you desire, I am committed to getting the job done and having fun along the way.
